Adapted from Michael Cunningham's acclaimed novel, "The Hours" was inspired by Virginia Woolf's "Mrs. Dalloway" and became a household name through the Oscar-winning 2002 film adaptation starring Meryl Streep, Julianne Moore, and Nicole Kidman.
